Electric Party Songs

A flow of songs and actions based on the poetry of America poet Allen Ginsberg weaved into materials created by its members, drawing inspiration from blues, rock, pop, opera, punk, and traditional sources.

I Am America
Saturday February 15, 2014 at 8:00pm | Studio Theatre, 4 Glen Morris Street
Bringing to life the poetry of Allen Ginsberg in a performance with language culled from his poetry as well as calls, shouts and traditional Songs of the South of the United States.

Electric Party Songs
Friday February 21, 2014 at 8:00pm | The Round, 152a Augusta Ave.
Each time the Electric Party Songs is performed contains a different selection and succession of artistic materials, creating a unique event of embodied poetry and song.

The Hidden Sayings
Saturday February 22, 2014 at 8:00pm | Studio Theatre, 4 Glen Morris Street
New work in development – Canadian Premiere. Continuing the investigation of Songs from the Southern United States woven with early Christian Coptic (Egypt) texts.
